Free Feature
Users
Control which WordPress user roles can view attribution data and access plugin settings.
Default access
By default, the attribution dashboard and settings are accessible to WordPress users with the manage_options capability, which corresponds to the Administrator role. Editors, Authors, and other roles do not see the Attribution menu by default.
Granting access to additional roles
Under Attribution → Users, you can grant access to specific WordPress roles. Two permission levels are available:
- View — can access the Dashboard, Sessions report, and Trends. Cannot change settings or delete data.
- Manage — full access including settings and data management. Equivalent to administrator-level access to the plugin.
Use case: sharing data with a marketing team
A common configuration is to grant Editor-level users View access so that content and marketing team members can see attribution data without being able to change plugin settings or access other admin capabilities. Assign View permission to the Editor role under Attribution > Users.
Individual user access
Permissions are role-based, not per-user. If you need to restrict access for a specific individual within a role, use a WordPress user role management plugin to create a custom role with the appropriate capabilities.
