Pro Feature
Trends
Multi-period charts showing how each channel performs over time, with conversion data and drill-down to source domains.
What the Trends tab shows
The Trends tab is available under Attribution → Trends with an active Pro license. It contains four views and a period selector:
- Daily sessions chart — session volume per channel, per day, over the selected period
- Sessions vs. conversions — grouped bar chart comparing session count against conversion count per channel
- Conversion rate by channel — conversions divided by sessions, per channel, for the period
- Channel drill-down — click any channel to see its top referring source domains with session and conversion counts
Period selector
Switch between 7, 30, and 90-day views using the period selector at the top of the Trends tab. All charts update to reflect the selected period. The Direct/Unknown exclusion toggle is available on every chart, consistent with the Dashboard behaviour.
Reading the daily chart
Each line or bar on the daily chart represents one channel. Channels with zero sessions on a given day are not plotted for that day but remain in the legend. The chart is useful for identifying specific dates where a channel spiked, such as a social post going unexpectedly viral or an AI platform referencing your content.
Channel drill-down
Clicking any channel in the Trends view expands a breakdown of the top source domains within that channel for the period, with session counts and conversion counts per domain. For the AI Referrer channel, this shows which specific AI tools are sending traffic — ChatGPT separately from Perplexity separately from Claude, rather than all AI traffic aggregated.
