Dashboard

Your attribution overview — traffic mix, session trends, and key metrics at a glance.

Free

The Dashboard gives you a quick read on your traffic mix and session volume. It's the first screen you see when you open the console, and the session count updates automatically as new sessions arrive.

Summary cards

Six cards across the top give you key numbers for the selected date range:

CardWhat it shows
SessionsTotal distinct visits. Updates live — pulses when new sessions arrive.
Avg per dayAverage sessions per day across the selected range.
Attribution coveragePercentage of sessions assigned to a classifiable channel.
Engagement ratePercentage of sessions where the visitor clicked through to at least one more page.
Channels detectedNumber of distinct channels that sent traffic in the range.
Page views loggedTotal individual page views recorded, including multi-page sessions.

Traffic overview

The Traffic overview section shows two charts side by side:

Channel breakdown

A donut chart showing the proportion of sessions attributed to each channel over the selected date range. Each segment is colour-coded. The legend lists every channel with its share percentage.

Sessions per day

A bar chart showing one bar per calendar day in the range, with height proportional to that day's session count. The Y-axis shows absolute session counts at graduated intervals. The date range is shown below the chart along with the average sessions per day for the period.

Visitors by device

Below the traffic overview, a horizontal bar chart shows the split between mobile, tablet, and desktop visitors. Device category is determined by screen width at the time of the visitor's first page view. Sessions recorded before this data was captured show as Unknown.

Recent activity

A table of the most recent sessions recorded, showing channel, source, and landing page. This is the fastest way to confirm the beacon is working after installation — visit your site in a browser and watch the entry appear within seconds.

Date range selector

Use the range tabs to switch between time windows. All ranges are available on both Free and Pro:

30 daysRolling 30-day window

Live session counter

The Sessions card updates every 30 seconds without a page reload. When new sessions arrive while you're viewing the Dashboard, the card pulses once to signal the change. If you're in a different browser tab, the page title updates to show how many new sessions have arrived since you last looked — it resets when you return to the tab.

What to look for

A healthy attribution picture typically shows organic search as the largest channel, with referral, email, and social filling in depending on your marketing activity. An unusually high Direct share often means traffic is arriving from sources that strip the referrer header — common with email clients and messaging apps. Adding UTM parameters (or c_ aliases) to your links is the reliable fix.

High Direct traffic? Links sent via email, WhatsApp, or Slack often arrive without a referrer. Tag your links with UTM parameters or use branded short links so the classifier has a signal to work from.
